Am I invited to every event?
Yes. Every guest is invited to every event.
When should I arrive?
Most guests are arriving on Thursday, May 13. If you can only make it on Friday, that’s fine too: the Haldi is a relaxed daytime gathering, so just aim to be here for the Sangeet that evening.
What should I wear?
Each event has its own dress code, from sunny yellows at the Haldi to Western formal at the reception on Saturday night. Our attire guide has ideas and colors for each.
Do I need to RSVP to each event?
No. One reply covers the whole weekend. If you’ll miss an event, just let us know when you RSVP.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please reply by January 8, 2027.
Where should we stay?
At Penha Longa, through our room block. Please book by January 8, 2027. Booking details.
How do I get from the airport to the resort?
Penha Longa is about 22 miles (36 km) from Lisbon airport, roughly 30–40 minutes by car. A taxi, Uber or Bolt is the easiest way there. See our travel guide.
Can I bring a plus-one?
We’ve kept our guest list to close family and friends, so we can only host the guests named on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.
Are children welcome?
We can only host the children named on your invitation.
Will there be vegetarian options?
Yes. There will be plenty of vegetarian dishes at every meal. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when you RSVP.
Is there a registry?
Having you with us in Portugal is the greatest gift, so please don’t feel you need to bring anything.
Can we take photos during the ceremonies?
We’d love you fully present for the ceremonies, so please keep phones and cameras away; our photographers will capture everything. Snap away at every other event.
What will the weather be like?
Mild, around 55–72 °F (13–22 °C) in mid‑May. Sintra’s hills are often misty and cooler in the evenings, so bring a layer.
